I am always interested in seeing John Cusack films, and add the fact it’s a Stephen King story and I was definetly interested, even if quite a few of his book to movies haven’t been upto much, the premise was still interesting to me. Before I watched it I had seen many peoples opinions on it, and it seemed very 50/50, people either loved or hated it and their didn’t seem much in between. Continue Reading »
Browsing around blogs and sites I always find stuff I am interested to see, some I am glad I saw and others not so, although I don’t always see every film I’d like, well not straight away as I always have so much to watch, but it’s always nice to have things to see and keep an eye out for. Here are 3 foreign films I am interested in seeing, whether I do or not will depend on time and the others things I need to watch, but hopefully I will catch them sometime. Continue Reading »
An evening with Kevin Smith, the title of one of his dvd’s, but this topic isn’t just about that, it’s about all of his stuff and the good and bad things I like about his material and about him himself, but first his movies. Kevin Smith and his films first came to my attention when a friend told me to watch Clerks, so I did, and I loved it and I then went on a Kevin Smith watching spree and started to watch his other films. If you haven’t seen his stuff I am about to mention then go rent or buy them and spend an Evening in with Kevin Smith, but not too often, you might seem a bit weird, or become a fanboy tosser. (More on that later). Continue Reading »

Below is the teaser poster that has been released. There was a trailer too but it got deleted from Youtube. Continue Reading »

These are in no particular order and aren’t necessarily my favourite 10, there are so many great scenes I just picked a random 10.

I have liked Asian films ever since I saw Ringu (Or The Ring as it was called for the remake), I remember watching the American version and not thinking much of it, but people told me to check out the original and I did, and since then I have watched many Asian films.
There have been a few remakes of Asian films done by Hollywood, there is only one I can think of that I didn’t mind, not because I am some Asian film snob or anything, but the remakes are just rarely as good as the original or anywhere near as good full stop, the Asian versions are just better for a few reasons for me. (Oh, the film I didn’t mind was The Departed, remake of Infernal Affairs). Continue Reading »
